Documenting stories
I cover different kinds of events, both private and public. I have covered festivals and private law firm parties, gallery openings, queer youth events and empowering workshops, restaurants and non profit organizations.
My approach
My photography approach is 'subjet-based' meaning that your comfort comes first. I always make sure that everyone is informed of my presence and ask consent to those present. I use techniques that prioritize anonymity if one is not comfortable but still wants to be included.
Photography is a tool of empowerment and creativity but also of intimacy. I prioritize making everyone feel safe and included and I usually finish the photoshoot making my clients feel more confidence and free.
